Madge Garland, mother of the former Coolmine & Garda player, the late Gerry ‘Garlo’ Garland, presents the Garland Cup to winning team Captain Alan Murphy after the inaugural cup match of Coolmine Wilderbeests v Garda in Ashbrook yesterday evening. A memorable night’s rugby and looking forward to this being an annual feature in the club calendar. Well done to Garda RFC for a strong display on the night and to the Beests for sticking to the task to the end.
